In 2015, my team at RadicalMedia partnered with the ONE Campaign and Project (RED) to create a digital re-invention of the original AIDS Memorial Quilt.
We concepted, designed, and built an online/socialmedia activation and UGC tool that attracted over 75,000 individual quilt panel creations from around the world.
The online activation was created as part of a campaign to get people involved by showing support for the goal of the first AIDS free generation and bring awareness to the often neglected issue of Mother-Child HIV transmission.

➔ Social Media Activation
We designed and developed a unique online tool for visitors to create a colorful digital quilt panel and then share it with their friends and family via social media as an expression of their individual support for the fight to cure AIDS.
➔
To launch the web activation we asked musicians, celebrities and influencers to create their own Quilt panels and promote the effort on their social channels.
Bono, Annie Lennox, Hugh Jackman, Coldplay, Josh Groban, and others participated by sharing their personal panels aas well as doing press apperances to drive traffic to the site.
