A partnership between Conservation International, National Geographic, and The New England Aquarium, The Ocean Health Index is a research-driven, data organization and public awareness project to provide an authoritative source for scientific information on the state of Ocean conditions.

For the launch of the inititative we researched and analyized data sets from the OHI's ten core goals/categories and underlying components.
These were translated into data visualization stories that made them relevent and visually engaging in a way that the general public could understand and share.
OHI Website
The hub for all OHI findings and results was a content and data-viz rich website. On the OHI site visitors could use interactive GIS maps and dynamic data visualization tools to search, filter and compare the data-driven results by individual country and EEZ.
